TRIBE AND THE BANNOCK INDIAN TRIBE।BOTH TRIBES SPOKE LAUGUAGES THAT
BELONG TO THE UTO-AZTECAN GROUP OF INDIAN LAUGUAGES।THIS GROUP INCLUDES 30 OR MORE VARIANTS WHICH WERE SPOKEN FROM TRIBES AS FAR-
FLUNG AS OREGON AND IDAHO CLEAR DOWN TO NICARAGUA।HOPI IS ONE OF THE
LANGUAGES OF THIS GROUP AND IS STILL SPOKEN IN 5,000-6,000 HOPI FAMILY HOMES।
NAHUATL,WAS THE LARGEST LAUGUAGE OF THIS FAMILY AND WAS THE
LAUGUAGE SPOKEN BY THE AZTECS।OVER A MILLION PEOPLE STILL SPEAK THIS
LAUGUAGE AND FROM IT COME THE ENGLISH WORDS-TOMATO AND COYOTE.
